Rob
Rob and his Wife, Julianne, live and work right here in the Forest Hills Area alongside their 3 children, 2 of which graduated from Forest Hills Northern. Rob’s wife, a teacher at Forest Hills Central makes it a house divided! A veteran of the United States Navy, Rob has been a professional barber since 2008 - owning Forest Hills Barber Shop since 2015, after the tenure of Pete Hamilton. I personally look forward to seeing you in the shop.
Ian
Ian grew up in Lansing and then made the move to Grand Rapids in 2014 with his dad, Rob, and stepmom, Julianne. After five years honing his customer service skills in the restaurant industry, he found his true calling in barbering and has been crafting great cuts since 2020. Ian’s chair is the place to be if you enjoy a solid conversation - especially about baseball or Star Wars. He’s all about delivering a haircut that fits your style and personality, and he’s excited to welcome you to the shop!
Ash
Ash has always been drawn to art, earning a Game Design degree in 2012 before serving in the military. In 2022, she returned to her creative roots through barbering, specializing in clean, long-lasting cuts and customs hair designs. Robby
Robby is a Michigan native and proud Detroit Lions fan who brings energy, authenticity, and a deep sense of community to the barbershop. After graduating from Northview High School in 2013 and spending ten years in corporate America, he chose to pursue a more fulfilling path rooted in connection and creativity. Having grown up around barbershops, Robby has long admired the craft and the camaraderie it builds. Today, he’s passionate about helping clients feel confident and creating an inclusive space where everyone feels welcome.
